Nature
Outdoors in nature is my happy place.
Growing up in a farming community makes you see the impact of every action on nature, and that it is not just some plants and animals. We are part of it!
It taught me to consider the effects on the environment in how I live and work.
Meeting people
Because home is not a place, it is a feeling created by the people around us.
Travelling is like climbing into a good book filled with wonderful people. And while I often want to park up and stay, eventually I have to close it and return to everyday life. There, I find a bunch of amazing people waiting for me: my friends and family.
Life is about people!
Stories
I love reading fantasy, because of magic and dragons, and the love story often hidden within.
When I tell (or photograph) a story, however, I prefer love stories.
Because dragons are way too scary!
Visual chronicler of love stories. Nature worshipper. Dog mother. Road-tripping camper.

Meeting people
Because home is not a place, it is a feeling created by the people around us.
And travelling is like climbing into a good book. Wherever I travel, I meet amazing people. And I always want to park up the camper van and stay. But like any book, I eventually have to close it and go home. There I find another bunch of amazing people waiting for me: my friends and family.

When I tell (or photograph) a story, I prefer a love story.
Because the dragons I dream up are so scary, I don’t want to meet them!

How I Got Here
Photography and making new friends have been two of my favourite things from a young age.
Things snowballed quickly from getting my first camera with a gift of a better camera. 10-year-old me went broke over buying film, followed by selling my photos to family and friends to fund my photography habit.
A twist of fate led me to study foreign languages and work as supervisor and project discipline lead on international projects.
I enjoyed meeting people from around the world, but a family tragedy made me stop and take stock.
I realized I had gone a long way down a road I never intended to take.
It was time to get back to what I care about most. Making and capturing memories.
Opening my own photography business and providing nature and fun loving couples with environmentally friendly wedding photography is my dream job.

Oh gosh! Busted!
Yes, I nicked Hagrid’s flying motorbike
Random facts about me
My spirit animal is probably a black bear
because: the most chilled of all bears around people, works hard all summer, good climber, needs glasses.
I love animals
If I have to explain this, go away!
I have two dogs, Isla (a borzoi of self-declared magnificence) and Flicka (a rescued street dog).
And then there are too many pond-roaming goldfishes to list their names here.
Advance warning: I turn into an excited, love-struck spaniel on sight of any cute animals. And I will probably say hello to your dog before you.
My sports are yoga and rock climbing
They keep my body strong and flexible like that of a ninja.
An absolute must for wedding photographers.
I’ve been accused of collecting capital cities
because apart from London, I also lived in Bonn (former West-Germany) and Paris.
However, these days I live in Guildford in Surrey, England, with my husband, our dogs and our goldfishes.
I am learning to play the violin
but I suck… so I made you a mixed tape of my favourite songs instead.
