Booking me as your Alternative Wedding Photographer
So you think you might want to book me as your wedding photographer.
If you have not yet sent me an enquiry, please read this blog that tells you how to enquire and what happens after I receive your enquiry.
You have enquired with me and we already had a chat, and now you want to book me? Marvellous! I’m looking forward to working with you.
Here is how to book me and what to expect after booking me as your alternative wedding photographer.
1. Let me know as soon as possible
The most important thing once you have decided you want me to photograph your wedding is, of course, to let me know.
So please drop me an e-mail without dealy.
2. Hurrah! Let’s work together
I will e-mail you with your contract and your invoice for the booking fee.
Please read the contract carefully.
Once you have signed your contract, send it back to me electronically.
A quick mobile phone photo of the signed page will do if you don’t have a scanner.
Then, pay your booking fee. The booking fee covers the cost of my pre-wedding admin and is part of the total price quoted.
3. Hurrah! You got me.
I’ve received your signed contract and your booking fee. You now got me for your wedding day!
I won’t accept any other bookings for the same day.
I will drop you a quick message to confirm.
4. I am here for any of your questions
You might want to tell me right at the end of our chat that you want to book me, or you drop me an email afterwards.
Just be aware that your date is not fully reserved for your until you have booked me.
5. Now you have booked me…
I appreciate how busy wedding planning is, so I won’t be getting into your hair.
To save you worrying that you might forget, I will send an e-mail reminder when your payment is due.
And should you need me at any point during your wedding planning, you can reach me on e-mail or the phone.
6. Your pre-wedding call
Around a couple of months before your wedding, I will be in touch to book your pre-wedding call and remind you to create a group shots list if you want to do them.
We will have our call 4 to 6 weeks before your wedding.
During the call we will discuss your schedule, the group shots, what time I should be there and when and where formal photos are likely to happen… All the things I need to know so that I can make sure all runs smoothly on your wedding day.
The call is also an opportunity for you to let me know of anything super important and to ask any questions you might have.
7. Changes after your pre-wedding call
If there are any changes to the schedule or anything else you think I might need to be aware of, drop me a message or give me a call.
If I don’t hear from you, I will arrive at the agreed time for your big day.
8. Booking your alternative wedding photographer is that easy
Booking me as your alternative wedding photographer is really straight forward.
I hope this blog provided an insight into what to expect when you book with me. I am here to help, whenever you need me.
If you haven’t enquired yet and would like to know how that works, please find a blog here: What to expect when you enquire with me.
